All is well…until tchooom!

It’s been a relatively easy week for me with this course and its tasks. I am sure you are surprised to hear that. Let me explain and stress the keyword “relatively” first. I main task was to finalize the Project Report and by itself is not an easy task, but all the efforts I put in the initial draft last week and with the valuable feedback from my partner, Val who I can never thank her enough for all her valuable comments, finalizing the report felt like smooth sailing. Mind you, many hours and frustration were put into this labor but I am quite satisfied with the outcome. I am also grateful to all the colleagues who extended their supports with warm words and expressing genuine feelings, I particularly want to thank Ludmila for taking time out of her busy schedule to review my project and showered me with valuable comments and warm compliments. My respect goes to you all.

The topic of this week’s discussion raised quite some interest, not only from my side, but also from around every corner of my classmates. Gardner had the lion share when we discussed the different learning styles and multiple intelligences. I feel sorry for Sternberg, Gregorc, Kolb, Briggs and others who tackled this topic from different perspective, yet not given the attention they deserve.

Anyway, I shall wrap up this post quick and cut it short to save you the extra agony of LS & MI and for me to go rest my head and try to get rid of the flu. I can barely see what I am typing, the headache and the fever finally got me. I hope I can manage with completing all the tasks of this week.

Wish me well.

Hassan

LOL. It's hillarious in terms of the way you placed the words together. We did focus on the famous learning styles and kind of sidelined the rest. Perhaps we'll get to review their work when it comes to further analysis for future researches.

    btw, Get well soon!

I hope we get another chance "to review their work when it comes to further analysis for future researches." I would love to hear about your findings once you get to it.

    1. Oh dear Salam, that is exactly my feeling. This emptiness this void had to be filled with something.. I 'chose' being sick!

While in bed and haven cancelled my classes, I tried to catch up on my readings from this course, but it was a frustrating chore. I ended up reading the same paragraph over and over again and progressing in pain. I gave up!

I will definitely come back to my reading soon after I feel better.

  5. Dear Hassan,
I'm really sorry you've got the flu. I know how it feels, especially having some tasks hanging over. Pull yourself together, you'll overcome it, given your extraordinary sense of humor :)
    Keep in touch,
    Ludmila

    1. Oh dear Ludmila!

Thank you for checking in on me.

I like how you shove my sense of humor as a solution to my overload of tasks hanging over my shoulders. Don't let me start listing them. The funny thing is that I always manage to finish them all in due time. So, no fever, no flu will change that now. I am a 'bull' when it comes to meeting my commitments and answering to my pleasures and dreams.

Thank you once again and I wish you the best closing up this course.

      Hope we meet someday soon.

      Hassan
